Monarch Bible Camp has been in operation under this name since 2000 when the directorship and office moved from Minden to Fenelon Falls. The camp, formerly knows as CSSM Bible Camp - Minden, has been in operation since the mid-80s. The focus of the camp has always been to meet the needs of smaller communities and Day Camps and Resident Camps have been run at various locations and on rented properties.

How do you sum up the ministry of a whole summer on a single sheet of paper? How do you convey the love and time invested in the life a single child and in the lives of 265 children? How do you convey the importance of growing with God by serving Him as a Camp Counselor?
I wish you could see the joy in a child’s face when they realize God loves THEM and wants to be THEIR friend. Or when a camper gets excited about the game or activity and just can’t wait to get started. I wish you could see the excitement in a staff’s face when a camper just wants to be with them and enjoy their company. Or when a hesitant staff becomes comfort-table with praying aloud with his or her co-workers. Or when a staff cries out to the Lord in appreciation for being used by Him to change the eternity of a child.
All summer long we talked as staff about how lucky we were to hang with kids, be outside, be physically active, play games and get free tans!! Really there is no life like camp and...
